With a hint of rosemary…
We always come back to this trusty Jamie Oliver recipe, and probably more so now the days are getting colder. The added rosemary really makes this dish, and even better when we can take it from our little herb garden. You can’t beat the smell of the rosemary, garlic and onion sizzling away… it’s something you need to walk home to at least once!
We tend to leave out the smokey bacon as it can overpower the rest of the flavours. Other than that we stick to the rules on this one. My housemate opted for courgetty, but we were still slightly healthy by swapping to whole grain spaghetti, and to be fair, we preferred it. It didn’t clag together like the white stuff!
Plus you’re left with a fairly full bottle of red wine that needs ‘using up’!
